The Kind of Work We Do
Representative craftsmanship and materials from our kitchen remodels — the same quality we bring to every project in Weston and across the MetroWest.
Kitchens We See in Weston
Weston’s large wooded lots and custom-built homes mean kitchens here tend toward bigger footprints and higher-end finishes than in denser towns nearby — both traditional Colonial-style estates and newer contemporary builds. Many properties are on private well and septic rather than town utilities, which is a real factor in scoping plumbing work.
Common Remodel Challenges in Weston
- Wetlands & conservation buffers: Weston has extensive conservation land, so additions or footprint changes near wetlands often need Conservation Commission sign-off.
- Well & septic capacity: Adding a larger kitchen sink, dishwasher, or second prep sink can affect septic system load and well water pressure.
- Long driveways, larger scope: Bigger lots mean more material staging and logistics planning than a typical in-town remodel.
Permitting in Weston
Weston kitchen remodels go through the town’s Building Department. Because so much of Weston borders wetlands or conservation land, we routinely coordinate with the Weston Conservation Commission early in the design process to confirm whether a project falls within a review area.
Permitting requirements vary by property. We pull permits and coordinate directly with the Weston building department on every job.
